Office Angels MD Jacobs to leave

Paul Jacobs is to join driver trainer and agency Clearstone in October

Paul Jacobs is to leave his post of managing director of Office Angels to join Clearstone Training and Recruitment as chief executive.

He will take up his new role at Clearstone, which is devoted to solving the transport industry’s skills shortages, on October 23. He has occupied senior positions at several of the UK’s top recruitment companies in a 30-year career.

Clearstone’s co-founders Sam Gyimah and Chris Philp will continue to be involved closely with the company: Gyimah as deputy chairman and managing director and Philp as a non-executive director.
John Cole, Clearstone chairman and former group managing director of Hays said: “Paul’s appointment is a strategic move aligned to the goals and growth of the business. He will bring a tangible value to Clearstone. I anticipate that not only Clearstone but the industry will benefit from his expertise as he turns his attention to the challenges faced by employers in finding the best talent.”
