New consultancy for Phee

PFJ co-founder goes it alone

Alan Phee, co-founder of UK media, PR and research recruitment firm Phee Farrer Jones, has launched a new consultancy specialising in placing candidates in the information vendor industry.

Phee, a former director and head of Phee Farrer Jones’ information division, has called his new company PGH Recruitment.

Phee said of his new venture, based in York Street, London: “I decided to set up this new, specialist recruitment consultancy as a direct response to what I was hearing within the industry.

“We can offer clients in-depth understanding of the skills needed in the ever-burgeoning information vendor industry.”

Phee helped launch Phee Farrer Jones, now known as PFJ, back in 1992.

Paul Farrer, chief executive officer of PFJ, welcomed the news about his old business partner.

“I wish Alan lots of luck in his new venture,” he said. “Though, of course, he’s in competition with us at PFJ now!”
