Tony Martin has become the new executive chairman of Corporate Services Group (CSG) as the firm continues to segment its businesses.

A trading statement said: “This will drive increased business performance through improved accountability, reduce corporate administration and provide a sound platform for growth.”

Martin, the former chairman of the global recruitment giant Vedior, was originally appointed as a strategic adviser to the board to help find a replacement for Mark Adams, who stepped down as chief executive of CSG in September.

Julian Treger will stand down as executive chairman but will remain on the board in the short term as a non-executive director.
