MULTI-SECTOR RECRUITMENT
Randstad UK has marked the culmination of a successful CSR project partnering with Microsoft and Learn Direct at the Edinburgh Community Technology Academy (ECTA) graduation at City Chambers.
Randstad worked with unemployed people to gain ICT literacy and professional training, thereby improving their prospects of gaining sustainable employment. It will help the graduates look for long term work.
Fred van der Tang (pictured), managing director of Randstad UK, says: “We are proud to be a leading partner of the European Alliance on Skills and Employability and involved in this important initiative which will improve the IT skills of 100,000 Scots by 2010.
“The day was very successful and we wish all the best for the graduate’s future. We know our consultants will work hard to help find them suitable roles, utilising the skills they have acquired.”
