Volunteers needed for charity

The Charity Commission and volunteer organisation TimeBank has targeted media professionals in a recruitment drive to attract more trustees.

The recruitment drive follows a research project by the commission revealing that almost half of the UK’s charities had problems recruiting members.

Recruiter Reed also estimates that 73% of employers would choose a candidate with voluntary experience over one without.
