Glasgow-based Tom McWilliam Associates has launched an online service to provide companies with employees trained in Six Sigma, a quality monitor and business improvement system.
Sixsigmarecruitment.com will also work with Six Sigma-trained professionals seeking their next career move.
Managing director Tom McWilliam said: “Launching this service is an important addition to our existing business. We are increasingly being asked to assist in finding suitable Six Sigma professionals by business owners or executives who are, or want to, transform their business processes.
“We have extensive knowledge of the talent available in the Scottish market and, by using this, businesses can often find the right person more quickly and avoid expensive relocation costs.”
McWilliam added that the service currently has 56 people on its books and its customers include large utilities firms, BP and Lloyds TSB.
Six Sigma was pioneered by Motorola in the eighties and has since been implemented by GE, Ford, Caterpillar, Microsoft, Siemens and Merrill Lynch.
