McGinley faces Old Bailey

Trial date set following death of worker

The recruitment agency McGinley faces an Old Bailey trial on 30 September after admitting not making safety checks following the death of a rail worker.

Student Michael Mungovan, 21, from Isleworth, was killed when a train hit him near Vauxhall station, south London in 2000.

It was his third day with the firm, which has admitted failing to ensure he was not exposed to health and safety risks, along with maintenance firm Balfour Beatty.
