Kelly reveals strong results
The US headquarters of high street recruitment brand Kelly Services has posted strong increases in both turnover and profit for the third quarter of 2004 as the recovery in the recruitment sector continues.
Revenue for Kelly Services grew by 13.5% to $1.245bn (£677m) in the third quarter, with net earnings increasing to $7.4m (£4m), up from $1.5m (£815,000) in the same period last year.
Revenue for the recruitment firm’s international division increased by 20.3% year-on-year during the third quarter.
Terence Adderley, Kelly Services’ chairman and chief executive officer, commented: “The economic recovery is well under way and our third-quarter sales of $1.245bn set a new all-time record for any quarter. We are well positioned for a strong performance in 2005.”
