Scottish Financial Enterprise (SFE) and eFinancialCareers have launched a new website portal to promote financial services career opportunities in Scotland to job seekers around the world. 

The portal has information about 200 financial services roles based in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen spanning investment banking, insurance, asset management, accounting, corporate finance and operations positions.

The arrangement between SFE and eFinancialCareers also provides SFE member companies with a 15% discount on all eFinancialCareers services, covering job listings for Scottish-based vacancies, training courses and online and offline advertising options.

Amanda Harvie, SFE chief executive, says: “Having listened to our members we realised there was a need for a dedicated service to promote the many exciting financial services career opportunities available in Scotland. 10% of the Scottish workforce is employed directly and indirectly in financial services and the financial services industry in Scotland has grown by 36% over the past five years.  Companies based here need to be able to recruit the very best people to enable them to continue to develop their businesses and compete effectively around the world.”
