Bradford-based recruiter Inn Direct closed following investigation by the Companies Investigation Branch of The Insolvency Service.
Bradford-based recruiter Inn Direct has been wound up following an investigation by the Companies Investigation Branch (CIB) of The Insolvency Service.
A statement by The Insolvency Service said that Inn Direct claimed to offer a unique high-quality recruitment and training service for people wanting to manage public houses. Clients paid a fee of £5,000 plus VAT for services, which included training and guaranteed placements.
But the CIB found that Inn Direct had misled its customers, and failed to fulfil promises on placements. The company also failed to keep adequate accounting and general records.
