Recruiters have a chance to take part in a yearly industry survey that will provide key information about the sector.

The Recruitment and Employment Confederation’s (REC) survey will provide information on such issues as firms’ total turnover and their temporary and permanent sales in a bid to collate industry information.

Agencies that participate in the confidential survey will receive a free electronic copy of the finished report in the autumn.

An REC spokeswoman said: “It is in all our interests to fill this out. There is a shortage of information about the industry and this will improve if everyone gets involved."
