Recruiters have until the end of this week to submit their nominations for the One in a Million Award given to the UK’s top temporary worker during National Temporary Workers Week which runs from June 4-8.

The Recruitment and Employment Confederation organised awards include two new categories. Diversity Plus is for the nominee who has most challenged the stereotypical view of the kind of person to suit a particular role. The other is Stepping Stone for the temporary worker who has made the most successful transition into a permanent role.

Other sector categories will be: Agency Driver, Agency Office Worker, Agency Industrial Worker, Interim Manager, Supply Teacher, Locum, IT Contractor, TEC Contractor, Agency Nurse, Agency Social Worker, Agency Child Care Worker and Agency Care Worker.
