In India, the Deccan Herald has reported that the Shahapur-based Nitin Manpower Agency has apologised for any inconvenience caused to BEd and BPEd graduates by placing an advert in the newspapers. The ad stated that the agency was recruiting teachers for the Murarji Desai/Novodaya Residential Schools run by the Social Welfare Department. The ad stated that it had permission to fill up 525 teaching posts in Gulbarga, Raichur and Bellary districts. However, the education authorities had not approved the advert or yet decided how it intends to recruit teachers for the next academic year.
