The immigration service has dropped requirements for agencies giving immigration advice to workers from EU accession states to sign up to a special register.

After a lobbying campaign by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation, agencies no longer need to register with the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner if they are giving advice to workers from EU accession states, removing the need to pay a £500 fee.
