A technical recruitment firm from Manchester has bought its rival Advantage Personnel Services (APS) for an undisclosed sum.

Morson International bought APS, based in Warrington, from Robotic Technology Systems (RTS).

Morson has also signed an preferred supplier agreement with the vendor, which is also based in Manchester, lasting three years. RTS hopes the sale will allow it to focus on its core technology projects.

Ged Mason, managing director of Morson International, said: “This is a small yet strategic acquisition providing an opportunity to expand our client base within the region and Merseyside, providing local service support to our customers, in addition to opening new markets within IT.”
