Hudson nears its Euro vision

Firm establishes European brand

Hudson, the recruitment company formed from the demerger of TMP nearly two years ago, is in the final stages of establishing its name as a pan-European brand.

The company’s chief executive John Rose told Recruiter the string of acquisitions made by TMP were becoming part of a homogenised brand. By the end of the year all of the firm’s European offices would be converted to Hudson, he claimed.

“We have over 35 customers who want us to work across borders so we have to make sure our network is consistent and coherent,” he said.

He added that a third of the firm’s revenues now came from non-traditional areas of recruitment such as outplacement, talent management and managed service solutions.

Rose explained: “42% of the workforce are likely to move jobs this year. But what about the other 58%? We are building our business not with the 42% but with the 100%.”
