How to capitalise on the first signs of the recovery is the topic of the 2004 ATSCo (Association of Technology Staffing Companies) members’ conference, to be held on 23 June at London’s Café Royal.

The event, which is sponsored by Giant Group with Recruiter as the media partner, brings together leading recruiters and client-side experts to offer a broad range of advice on how to sell better and higher as the market recovers.

“The market is picking up but the competition is tougher than before,” said ATSCo chief executive Ann Swain. “The sales process has moved up several notches, and you can’t afford to be an amateur.”

The afternoon session will include a roundtable and question-and-answer session featuring client representatives from all sides of the recruitment process.

John Cullen, head of HR services sourcing at Barclays will be joined by Phil Whitehead, IT director of legal firm DWF, Alan McKinnnon, recruitment manager of T-Mobile, and Kevin Barrow, joint managing partner of law firm Tarlo Lyons.

Tickets cost £175 for ATSCo members and £220 for non-members. More details can be found at www.atsco.org.
