The Hotgroup’s board has made Chris Herrmannsen a director of the company.

Herrmannsen joined the company in November 2004 as managing director of the recruitment consultancy division.

Tony Reeves, chairman and chief executive of the Hotgroup, said: “Since Chris joined the Hotgroup last year he has made a significant impact on our business.

“He has been working very closely with our online business to drive the deployment of online technology across the group’s portfolio of traditional recruitment businesses and develop new hybrid products and services.”

The Hotgroup announced last month a streamlining of its online business into two separate recruitment agency and ‘employer direct’ divisions.
