Hot Group’s spree continues
AIM-listed recruiter Hot Group has continued its spending spree and made two further acquisitions worth a total of £1.2m.
The company bought two online recruitment firms, JobsFinancial.com and Gisajob.com, with a combination of cash and share deals.
Hot Group will pay £680,000 for Jobsfinancial.com, which is a niche site that specialises in the finance and accounting sector, and which generated revenues of £273,000 in the year to September 2003.
Chief executive Alan Dickinson, former manager director of Michael Page UK, will remain in the group as consultant.
Hot Group will pay £550,000 for Gisajob.com, an online recruitment company that was previously in competition with Planetrecruit and Jobtrack, two IT recruitment sites already owned by Hot Group.
