Chris Herrmannsen has been appointed as the new managing director for Hot Group’s recruitment consultancy division.

Hermannsen joins from Hudson Highland Group Inc, where he led the company’s European recruitment and human resource consulting operations.

He started his career in recruitment with Hays plc in 1989, before joining HW Group plc as a consultant where he later graduated to group managing director.

His new role will involve leading Hot Group’s recruitment consultancy division, which is made up of Parkside Recruitment, ITN Teachers, The Buzz, Mark Education and ASA.

Commenting on the new appointment, Tony Reeves, chairman and chief executive of Hot Group said: “Chris Herrmannsen brings outstanding specialist recruitment and management expertise to the company.”

Herrmansen joins the company on 19 November.
