JobsinHealth.com, the UK and Ireland health website, has acquired the health sector recruitment website HealthSectorJobs.com for an undisclosed sum.

The website, which was formerly called Medical-Posts.com, was established by recruitment advertiser Doherty Advertising Limited over three years ago to raise the presence of its health clients’ vacancies online.

JobsinHealth’s managing director and co-founder Stephen McLarnon said he hoped the move would enhance its existing service and provide a new medium for health employers looking to reduce hiring costs.

“More and more employers are turning to the internet to reduce recruitment advertising costs.

“This move is extremely exciting and will dramatically increase our market share,” he said.
