Hays has launched a new division, Hays Energy, to capitalise on the expanding opportunities within the market in the UK and Internationally.

Hays Energy offers three specialist divisions: utilities, power generation and oil & gas. It will specialising in the supply of engineering, commercial, quality control and health and safety employees to the energy industry.

Darren Montagu, director of Hays Energy, says: "We have been involved in the sector for a number of years, but it is only recently that growth has been so substantial that it warrants its own division. For example, the National Grid has recently authorised £2.6bn of work, refurbishing and upgrading sub stations. Our dedicated consultants possess extensive sector knowledge, so that they can meet the needs of professionals in this growing, global industry."

Hays Energy operates from offices in Aberdeen, Edinburgh and London.
