Marketing recruitment firm beats expectations

Advertising recruitment company Hat Pin has announced that it will beat analysts’ expectations in its full year results.

Chairman Gay Haines said the last quarter of 2003 had been particularly strong and the AIM-listed company had made a number of high profile appointments in the USA and the UK.

She added: “Our offices around the world continue to experience improved trading performance during the second half of 2003.”

The firm has also appointed a new director, Louise Wall, who will have a business development role.

Wall has previously worked for the Direct Marketing Association and the advertising firm Clarke Hooper.

Shares in the company jumped four points to 53p following the announcement.
