But MSB stalls
Harvey Nash, the listed professional services recruiter, reported that interim pre-tax profits were up by 47%.
In the six months to July, turnover jumped 17% to £92.7m and pre tax profits increased to £1.73m.
Former Michael Page man Richard Ashcroft has joined the board as finance director and Simon Wassall has joined as European managing director.
IT recruiter MSB has announced interim results showing an increase in turnover but a slight dip in pre-tax profits.
Pre-tax profits were £163,000 in the six months to July, compared with £356,000 in the period last year.
Turnover increased 6% to £47.1m but administration costs increased from £6m to £7m.
