IT recruiter GCS says it has taken on 25 members of staff in the first six months of the year to manage new business in its London, Reading, France and Netherlands offices.

Managing director Chris Bartlett said: “Demand for IT staff has increased especially in the areas of web services and business intelligence.
“Our own recruitment drive is aimed at graduates and at experienced sales people.”

The company’s turnover rose 28% to £18m in the year to April 2006, he added.
