Green Partnership ceases trading

Firm goes into voluntary liquidation

Recruitment advertising firm The Green Partnership has gone into voluntary liquidation, after the sole director decided it was no longer possible to continue trading.

The Nottingham-based firm had been offering a service to small and medium-sized firms since 1996, but has now ceased trading.

Director Robin Green blamed industry-wide cuts in agency commissions and cashflow problems for the closure of the company.

Although the Green Partnership once had a turnover of more than £2m, it was hit hard by the collapse of ONdigital and a design house it worked with.

However, the reduction of commissions from 15% to about 10% across the industry further damaged profits. Consultant EWS is handling the liquidation.
