Political parties and the Fiji Employers Federation believe the recruitment of Fiji labourers for Canada is a positive move towards growth in the country and its people, reports the Fiji Times. Labour Party spokesperson Lekh Ram Vayeshnoi said this was a good indication that Fiji was back on track. "There is a lot of hope in Fiji and its people. It is good news that Canada wants labourers from Fiji and given the chance, people should go out for greener pastures at other places since it is on a temporary basis," said Vayeshnoi.
