Gangmaster licence for HR GO Liverpool

Liverpool-based recruiter passes audit to gain licence

HR GO Liverpool has been awarded a Gangmaster Licence after passing the audit with no endorsement points.

Managing director Gary Richards says: “It’s a great advantage to be ahead of the game in respect of this new governing legislation. This demonstrates our ongoing commitment to putting our labour force first.”

The deadline for applying for a Gangmaster licence, which anyone supplying workers to the agriculture, horticulture and food/drink processing and packaging sectors will need to have, is 1 September 2006. It becomes an offence to operate without a licence from 1 October.
