King’s Lynn-based Galaxy Personnel has been awarded a licence from the Gangmaster Licensing Authority.

The company underwent a two-day assessment to attain the licence. Managing director Peter Blackmur said: “We chose to be assessed as soon as the licence became available because we wanted to show the industry how transparent we are with our working practices.”

Galaxy Personnel has staff who speak 15 different languages to ensure that immigrant workers can be helped with form-filling and opening bank accounts.
