Office and secretarial specialist Angela Mortimer has not ruled out more acquisitions in 2007 as the business looks to grow "organically and inorganically".
That's the view of chief executive Aled Morris, who was speaking at the launch of the company's annual 'Blue Book' salary survey in London recently.
Morris told Recruiter that the company's latest acquisition, the Bristol-based Goddard Group, was "proven" within its market and he added that Mortimer could continue to expand in this way.
"It has always been part of Angela Mortimer's strategy to grow organically and inorganically and that will continue to be our goal," said Morris.
The company, which is headquartered in London, has 11 offices across Europe, including one each in Paris and Brussels. It has 240 staff in total and notched up £40m in sales last year.
The survey, which is in its third year, found that more candidates were withdrawing from the recruitment process than in previous years.
This, suggested Morris, could partly be down to employers providing unclear job specifications. "Recruiters have a duty to help them get this right," he said.
