Ford rewards Manpower

Q1 certification for excellence

Global recruiter Manpower has been awarded a top quality certification by the Ford Premier Automotive Group.

The company received the award for high standards it performed while supplying staff to the Land Rover factory in Solihull.

Car giant Ford gives the Q1 certification to suppliers who meet the standards laid out by the company for ISO certification, the international standard of quality management systems.

Brian Davy, director of non-production purchasing for Jaguar, Land Rover and Aston Martin, presented the award at Manpower's head office in Uxbridge.

Mark Cahill, managing director of Manpower UK, commented: "We are extremely pleased to have achieved Q1 certification on our first attempt and from our

first nomination.

"It's a reward for the hard work and resolve from the team involved in managing the Land Rover contract and will undoubtedly help build on the excellent relationship that has existed between the two companies over the past six years."

Manpower has supplied Land Rover with industrial labour, automotive staff and auto electricians since October 1999.
