Engineering recruiter Wynnwith has become the first agency of its kind to join the technology recruitment industry’s trade body.

The Association of Technology Staffing Companies’ (ATSCo) chief executive Ann Swain (pictured) said it was a natural progression that an engineering recruiter joined the body due to its similarities with IT.

A spokeswoman for Wynnwith, based in Woking, Surrey, said: “After investigating ATSCo and becoming aware of its planned expansion into engineering and technical recruitment, we felt that we wanted to become a member.”

Wynnwith has grown from a small family company started in the early 1970s to a £1m turnover recruitment firm employing more than 3,000 contractors.
