The fall-out in the US markets has hurt most UK shares, including recruiters, with 17 falling over the fortnight, while 11 rose.
But some bucked the trend, including IT recruiter FDM Group, due to report results 21 March, which hit a new high. OPD's results helped it recover some recent lost ground (www.recruiter.co.uk).
Robert Walters has sold 2m shares in the financial recruitment company that bears his name, and of which he is chief executive, realising £6.85m. This reduces his holding to 1.19m shares, or 1.6%. Greatfleet is to raise £2.52m by selling new shares. This will strengthen the company's balance sheet and enable it to grow its legal recruitment business.
