Euro? No thanks!

Agencies relieved we stayed out
The majority of employers in the UK are relieved that we haven’t joined the euro, according to a survey from recruitment agency Angel Human Resources.
The report showed that 83% believe their businesses had not been affected in any way by the country’s failure to sign up to the single currency. And 9% said their businesses had benefited.
The 6% who claimed their business had suffered were mainly firms who dealt with clients in the euro-zone, who were already making payments in euros.
Angel’s executive chair Janet Crawford warned that staying out of the euro means “our EU partners will be taking economic decisions that affect our lives, families and businesses – but we will be outside the decision-making process”.
