Armin Preisig has announced his resignation from the board of Amsterdam-based recruitment giant Vedior.

Preisig is leaving the company "by mutual agreement" for health reasons and personal commitments.

He will resign at the forthcoming annual general meeting of shareholders on 28 April.

Preisig joined Vedior’s board in 2001. He was responsible for overseeing the group’s operations in Central and Southern Europe and Scandinavia, including Germany, Italy, Spain and Switzerland.

Vedior said it was not currently looking to replace him.
