WorkABILITY is a newly launched employment agency aimed at helping local young people with learning and physical disabilities get into the workplace.

WorkABILITY has been set up by Hertfordshire Personal Assistance and Support Services (PASS), working in conjunction with Oaklands Colleges.

WorkABILITY’s employment facilitator, Murray Bradburn, says: “This project will open a few eyes and raise the awareness of the skills, abilities and experience that are not currently being utilised in Hertfordshire.”

The scheme, funded by £143,000 of Big lottery money, will also provide ongoing support and guidance for students even providing a bank of specialist equipment for use by students as and when needed in the workplace.
