Dextra 'not going bust'
The Manchester-based search and selection firm Dextra has scotched rumours that it has gone out of business.
Recruiter has learned that Headley Resourcing Ltd, a holding company associated with Dextra, has gone into liquidation.
But the recruitment agency is continuing to trade and none of its existing clients have been affected, director Gareth Headley (pictured) confirmed.
Recruiter understands that at least five people have been made redundant in a major shake-up at the firm, which specialises in providing jobs which involve flexible working.
“We are about to make an exciting announcement about the future of Dextra. As part of a restructuring, we have made five people redundant,” said Headley.
He added that none of Dextra’s clients would be affected by the proposed changes, which are currently being kept under wraps for legal reasons.
