Contractors better value

Report slams expensive consultants
Contract and interim personnel are seen as providing better value for money than consultants.
That’s the finding of a report by Campion Willcocks, a provider of interim change management professionals.
Those questioned in the report claimed consultants were often there purely to make money.
One respondent said: “Interims come in as somehow psychologically part of your team, as opposed to a consultant coming in who has to generate more business for their firm. Interims are independent and on your side.”
The Interim Contractor or Consultant? report claimed that demand for interims would increase, particularly in more senior roles.
