Concept IT, the supplier of field and installation engineering staff, has reported a record 165% increase in turnover to £2.4m in 2006.

The West Midlands-based firm also doubled the number of staff it employed during the year.

Managing director Chris Short says: “These results confirm the increasing reliance on specialist recruitment companies with expert knowledge of specific markets. Key to this success has been the quality of our consultants and support staff, all of which have direct experience of the industries that we serve and a total dedication to customer project delivery.”

The recruitment agency treated its staff to a weekend in Barcelona to celebrate its successful year.
