The Adecco Group has announced that its new chief executive Dieter Scheiff will be taking office on August 1.

Scheiff will replace Klaus J. Jacobs, who has been CEO since November 2005. Jacobs will remain as chairman of the group.
“We now have an outstanding management team at the helm of Adecco. With this new team and the new strategy introduced at the beginning of the year, I see Adecco heading for a bright future,” says Jacobs.

Scheiff joined from German staffing company DIS AG, which Adecco took over this year.
