The listed business services company, Capita, has launched a programme to train people how to become assessors at recruitment events.

Running in Northern Ireland and major cities in England from September, the Assessor Academy is open to professionals with two years' experience in HR, training or recruitment.

Each course lasts four days and includes lessons and role play. Users will gain skills in competency-based interviewing and application sifting through to assessment centre exercises, observation techniques, scoring and decision-making.

The academy will provide self-employed assessors for Capita Resourcing's recruitment events.
