Capital Resource Consulting has won a ‘recruitment process outsourcing’ contract with soft-drink maker Britvic which will see consultants work on site to find staff.

Britvic is installing an enterprise software system, which has meant it has had to recruit at a much faster rate than usual. Capital will recruit around 60 staff in total, over a period of six months.

Two Capital consultants work on site at Britvic, processing initial applications for all job vacancies using a web-based system.

This takes much of the “grunt work” out of the recruitment process, according to Alison Cowen, the company’s recruitment manager. “They’re not branded as Capital consultants so they blend into the internal resourcing team,” she told Recruiter.

Abi Staines, client services director at Capital, said this sort of contract – where consultants work on site with HR – was becoming more widespread as clients demanded greater consistency.
