Campaign to reduce number of young killed at work

National WiseUp2Work campaign launched to protect young workers

The Institute of Occupational Safety and Health has launched National WiseUp2Work Day in a bid to cut the number of young people killed and badly injured at work.

The aim is to make employers, trainers, youth workers and teachers, and young people themselves, aware of the risks and what they should be dong to mitigate them.

The campaign will culminate in the National WiseUp2Work Day on 30 August, a time when many young people are starting their careers or starting work experience placements.
