Brookson, the Warrington-based firm that offers accounting services to contractors, has felt it necessary to issue a statement denying that it has gone bankrupt.
The statement follows rumours posted on a forum of the contractoruk.com site.
Managing director Martin Hesketh said: "To put an end to any speculation, Brookson would like to reassure our members that we are operating as normal, in an extremely robust position and working hard through this rapid and far reaching period of change for the industry."
Following the changes introduced to the taxation regime for Managed Service Companies (Recruiter, 21 March), Brookson has relabelled itself as an accounting services provider.
