Brookson, the composite company services provider, has extended its offering into the construction sector.

The new brand, Brookson CIS, allows contractors to be paid without having tax deducted.

The move follows rival composite services provider Gabem losing its CIS5 status in July (Recruiter, 26 July) following a review by HM Revenue and Customs.

Manchester-based Brookson now supports over 17,000 contractor members from a variety of industries including engineering, IT, social work and healthcare. Most Brookson contractors work through employment agencies
