Construction recruiter Bromak has put all of its contract consultants through the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) health and safety test to promote the importance of the issue to candidates.

Director Martyn Makinson told Recruiter: "If we are going to call ourselves construction recruitment specialists we need to know about all areas of the industry. And within any sector, but especially construction, health and safety is always the top priority."

The Manchester-based recruiter is also in the process of putting its consultants through the Construction Skills Certification Scheme.
