Survey shows British employees feel they let themselves down in office negotiations
British workers feel they have a lot to learn about difficult office negotiations, from pay rises to promotions, according to research from Office Angels.
The survey found that seven out of 10 employees (72%) feel they have let themselves down during salary negotiations or new business pitches because they are unable to predict how the other party will react.
Of the 1,300 employees questioned, more than half (51%) feel ineffective communication is affecting their development and opportunity for promotion.
