Recruitment and HR outsourcing firm BNB Resources has announced plans to change its name at its latest annual general meeting.

The firm has proposed, subject to the consent of the Registrar of Companies, to rebrand as BNB Recruitment Solutions.

BNB group financial director Paul Turner told Recruiter: “The reason quite simply, is because we want the name to give some description of what we do in the title of the business, which BNB Resources currently doesn’t do.”

BNB has shown bouncebackability in recent years following the firm’s difficult start to the decade.

It posted a pre-tax profit of £100,000 in the first half of 2004, which represented a significant turnaround from the pre-tax loss of £4.6m reported in 2003.

The company is expected to release its half-year results in the third week of September.
