Birmingham-based social care recruiter Balfor Social Care, part of Balfor Recruitment Group, has been accredited as a preferred supplier for four local authority temp contracts in the Midlands.

The value of the contracts was up to £10.6m, said the firm, and covered jobs from social worker team managers to care assistants.

Balfor Social Care managing director Jaz Bal said: “These contracts represent a major breakthrough at a key stage in our development.”
