Badenoch & Clark has further strengthened its European operations with the acquisition of Corinthe, a financial services and insurance recruiter.
Founded in 1989, Corinthe has one large office based in Holland and trades under five brands. It has a total staff of more than 100, including 70 fee-earners.
B&C has also revealed that earlier this year it bought Chronos, which recruits from a range of businesses, including GE, General Motors, Honeywell and major oil companies. It has offices in Budapest , Frankfurt and Brussels .
B&C was already in Luxembourg , and now has a stronger platform for further acquisitions on the Continent.
B&C, a subsidiary of US giant MPS Group, did not disclose a value for either deal. Both acquired businesses will continue to trade under their existing brand.
Neil Wilson, managing director of B&C, said: "The Netherlands is one of Europe 's largest users of temporary professionals, and Corinthe's leading position in the Dutch recruitment industry offers us a strong platform from which to grow."
